anyone know what 200 lbs of aluminum goes for at the scrapyard. I paid 40.20 for this and am wondering what aluminum is worth, and why Vanoc wouldn't just scrap it to begin with. http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p242/edzzed/olympictowers003.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p242/edzzed/olympictowers002.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p242/edzzed/olympictowers008.jpg

A fast London Spot price quote, in one tonne lots, is about .96 USD per pound. So a scrapyard would more than likely give you, what, a third?
.32/lb seems about right, but it's a pure guess. I have no idea what the buy/sell sell/buy split is. Whatcha buildin, or is it a secret?
