hey matt

there is a good spot to fish for sturgeon when the water is higher like right now
if you pass the mission bridge headed to dewdney there is an info booth on your right hand side and right down there you can catch some big fish!!

also on the other side of the river across the mission bridge just under it there is a camp ground but you need your salt water license

and just east of the mission bridge on the abbotsford side again you can see a bar just up from the log booms thats pretty good too!thats where I launch my boat every second friday night!

and also at the mouth of the stave biggrin.gif

i was out on friday at a spot near the stave, from shore. we had just got there and were just rigging up and i heard a splashing in the little drainage ditch thing right beside where we were fishing. well i go and take a look and its a 3ft sturgeon tied by the tail up to a tree branch. we let the it go rite away but it was a bit of a suprise to see that. damn poachers. well the fishing was shitty too. 8hours and nothing using dew worms, roe and ooligans out of season but had to try em.
