I know you are in the Cayman's now but hope you don't live near one of the rivers in Duncan. Major flooding in Duncan. Global had a lot of pictures and it must be totally frustrating feeling watching a couple of feet of water surrounding your home

My home is high on hill overlooking Duncan. No chance of flooding. Right now I'm toughing it out here on Grand Cayman Island with my friend, Sean, and a bevy of lovely young ladies... who stay at the same condo. Can't beat life here... a babe on one arm and a fly rod in the other.

I can just imagine the terrible feeling of having a foot of water in one's house. Plus to have all that dampness in the walls etc... in this time of year.
Do ya think a house can recover after being soaked like that?
Must have mildew,mold & bacteria inside the walls..forever ???
To add insult to injury some homes will get gov. help & some will not. (homes on flood plain cannot get regular insurance coverage for water damage)

Talking about flooding did yous see tv news reports about the flooding England has gone threw? Did I hear right?
1000 or 5000 bridges are possibly very unsafe to use.
One bridge collapsed with a police officer falling into the raging river. He died. Really really sad & unreal what they are going through.

Good to hear Ian's home is not affected.
