I have been reading posts and hearing that the Campbell River is a great spot to fish at the moment.
I have never fished it and am looking for some direction on where to access it from.
I will walk and search so am not looking for a secret hole,, but just a general mention on where to park and access the river.
Any help is much appreciated.

On the road to Gold River,just past the 2 bridges to the north island. Just look for all the vehicles parked before you get to the Quinsam river.
You will also see all the fisherman coming out with PILES of Pinks.

You can go anywhere on Campbell River.

Not hard to see where to fish once you get here but remember that retention is below the Quinsam confluence only.
It's a can't miss situation right now so have fun.

Take the gold river turn off and for the next few miles you will see cars all on your right . Find a spot and explore . Stay away from the bridge hole if you want peace .
